G. F. Headley, a well known citizen of Brock, this county, died at the Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh, Thursday evening, February 8, aged 69 years, of pneumonia. He had been in failing health for some time and had gone to the hospital for treatment, Mr. Headley was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Headley, deceased, and had spent his entire life in Perry township. He was a successful school teacher in the county for twenty years. He was also engaged in farming and was a civil engineer. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. He was united in marriage with Miss Sarah A. Connor, who with the following children survives: Byron and Albert Headley and Mrs. A. E. Phillips, all of Brock; Stanley Headley, of Kirby; Miss Gertrude Headley at home; Fred Headley, of Kirby, and Miss Bernice Headley, a student in Waynesburg High school. He leaves two brothers, Jesse Headley, of Daybrook, W. Va., and Thomas Headley, of Mt. Morris.
