CAMERON – Funeral services for Ella T. Ottmer, 84, of Rockdale were at 11 a.m. Monday at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Brian Bauer officiating. Burial followed at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. She died Saturday, July 27, 2002 in a Cameron nursing home.
Mrs. Ottmer was born in Yorktown July 14, 1918. A retired school cook for the Rockdale ISD after 20 years, she was also a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Rockdale.
Surviving are: Son, Roy Ottmer of Fort Worth; daughters, Joyce and Sammie Ferguson of Fairfield, Alice and Homer Mowdy of Rockdale and Katherine and Leroy Vansa of Cameron; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
