William F. Vaden, 86, died March 2.
An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was born Feb. 11, 1912, in Gatesville, Texas, and was a retired business agent for a roofers union and a 57-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his sons, Charles, Jonathan, William Jr. and Kenneth, all of Las Vegas, and Stephen of Seattle; daughter, Paula of Eugene, Ore.; brothers, Sonny of Las Vegas and Tommy of Moody, Texas; sisters, Bernice McConnell of Lovelady, Texas, and Edith Brown of Moody; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary-Downtown. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
