Joy Moorhead Rites to Be Held Here
Wednesday funeral services for Joy Moorhead 51 of Omaha, will be held from the Anderson Johnson Mortuary Wednesday at 3:30 pm with the Rev Harvey Schroeder pastor of the Faith Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery Mr. Moorhead died at Las Vegas Nev. last Wednesday following a period of ill health. Born and reared in Overton, Mr. Moorhead had worked as a traveling salesman for a film company until his retirement about one year ago. Following his retirement he resided at the home of his brother John in Kearney for about six months then with his son Gerald at Venice, Calif. He was returning from the West Coast when he was stricken and hospitalized at Las Vegas. Mr. Moorhead was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. In addition to his son and brother John he is survived by another brother Frank of Manhattan Beach, Calif.
