Teresa Carol West, age 75, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021, at her home in Nashoba, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Teresa was born on December 27, 1945, to Merritt and Margaret McPeak in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was the baby of the family and was welcomed by her brother and three sisters.
She married Harmon Senn and had two daughters, Tammy and Kelly. Later in life she married John M. West, Sr., in Dallas, Texas and was blessed with his two sons, Mal and Brent. John and Teresa lived in Grapevine, Texas for many years until they retired and chose Nashoba as their home. John and Teresa shared 35 years of marriage. Teresa loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent many years working for the City of Clayton, volunteering for the fire department, Nashoba school, church and cooking at the Nashoba Community Center. She truly loved her community and friends near and far. She was blessed with the talent of cooking and it didn't matter if it was for 10 people or a 100 people, it was an easy feat for her and always the best tasting food. Her homemade chicken and noodles was just one of the family favorites. Teresa loved to work in her flower beds and had quite the green thumb. She loved arts and crafts and always seemed to have a new project in mind that she wanted to do around the house. Some may not know this about her but Teresa had a competitive nature, especially during family game nights. She was always quite adamant about the score and the rules of the game and made sure everyone did what she felt was correct.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt and Margaret McPeak; siblings, Rose Marie Daggs, Edna Ruth Starks, Margaret Joann Miller and James Calvin McPeak.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband, John M. West, Sr. ; her daughters Tammy Robertson and husband Dean from Grapevine, Texas; Kelly Johnson and husband Ron from Waleska, Georgia; her sons John M. West, Jr. of Frisco, Texas and Mary West; Brent H. West and wife Stacie of Flower Mound, Texas.
She was an adored grandma to Deana Hamilton, husband Jace; Danielle Robertson; Shelby Johnson and fianc Chase Austin; Dusty Johnson; Braylie West; Hannah West; Wyatt West and Caston West. She was a beloved great-grandma to Parker Hamilton and Jayden Knoll. Teresa was loved and will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be John West, Jr., Brent West, Ron Johnson, Dean Robertson, Jace Hamilton, Benny Butler.
