FAMILY SEARCH. When Julia Ann Bird was stillborn on 17 August 1850 on the Mormon Pioneer Overland Trail, her father, Edmund Fuller Bird (1809-1892), was 41 and her mother, Cordelia Moore Martin (1828-1867), was 21.

MORMON PIONEER OVERLAND TRAIL. The family was among the 209 individuals and about 44 wagons traveling in the Wilford Woodruff Company when it began its journey on June 16, 1850 from the outfitting post at Kanesville (present day Council Bluffs), Iowa. This church train arrived in the Salt Lake Valley on October 14, 1850.
