10 June 1976: Samuel G. Noll, 78, Stricklerstown, Newmanstown RD 1, died early this morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Cocalico Twp., Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Samuel and Charlotte Gress Noll. He retired in 1963 from the Lancaster Tobacco Co. Survivors include his wife, Rosie Marderness Noll; a son, Samuel, Richland; two daughters, Rosanna, wife of Andrew Snyder, Newmanstown RD 1, and Elizabeth, wife of William Krum, Myerstown RD 2; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Mary Leisey and Hannah, wife of Claude Gensemer, both of Denver, and Ella, wife of Charles Sensing, Shillington, and a brother, David Noll, Lancaster. [Lebanon Daily News]
