Stephen Wayne Silver, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was the son of the late Earl Wayne Silver and Grace Mills.

He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church, where he enjoyed playing music and singing. Stephen was a man of strong conviction and was a fighter to the end. He loved helping others and always had a sense of humor. He also enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with his best friend and fiancé, Maria.

Stephen was a proud US Army Veteran, who served in Desert Storm.

Left to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Maria Davis; his in-laws, Rev. Harold and Joyce Davis; his step mother, Phyllis Mowell; his step son, Landon Dirhold; his daughter, Angel Silver; five siblings, Suzanne Massey (Darrell), Samuell Silver (Amanda), Sloane William Silver, Janet Rose (Troy) and Michael Stiers; three sister-in-laws, Rebecca Ellison (David), Donna Leonard (Mike) and Vandalyn Rose (Brian); and Jaxson, Jensen and Adalie, whom he thought of as grandchildren.

The family would like to send a special thanks to all of the hospital staff at Mission McDowell who helped take such wonderful care of Steve over the past five weeks.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 02, 2021, at 3:00 pm, at Faith Tabernacle Church, with Mike Leonard officiating. The family will have a visitation one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
