ST. ANTHONY - Jack Clark, 77, of St. Anthony, died Sept 30, 1993, at his home of a heart attack.

He was born May 13, 1922, at Wilford to John Taylor and Jane Brown Clark. He attended Franklin Elementary and Central High School in St. Anthony. He enlisted in the National Guard Army Corps of Engineers in August 1940. He received his training at Fort Lewis, Wash., and was later shipped to the Pacific for active duty where he served in the Army Medical Corps. He began work for Sommer's Masonry Co., then opened a masonry business of his own. Later his son joined the company.

On May 8, 1946, he married Lydia Bishoff in Teton. He retired in 1990 and they spent winters in Arizona.

Survivors include his wife of St. Anthony, two children, Ronald J. Clark of St. Anthony and Linda Scartezina of Lexington, Ky.; a brother and sister, Gene Clark and Garnot Bischoff, both of St. Anthony; and five grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the St. Anthony 2nd LDS Ward with Bishop M. Lee Miller officiating. The family will meet with friends from 7 to 8:30p.m. Sunday at Bert Flamm Mortuary and again on Monday one hour before services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
