Obituary for Altus Mae Linker
Altus Mae (Driver) Linker, age 84 of Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on September 30th, 2021 in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Altus was born on November 11th, 1936 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to LeAnna (Davis) and E.V. Driver. She married the love of her life, Alton Linker in 1952 and they began their life journey together. Altus worked as a recreation director at the Talihina Veteran's Center for over 25 years. She took pride in her work and loved each one of the residents as family. She enjoyed painting, crafting and flower gardening, but most of all, her pride and joy was her family. Altus will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Altus is survived by her son, Keith Linker and wife Brenda of Buffalo Valley, OK; grandchildren, Jimmy Adams of Talequah, OK, Andrea Linker of Bokchito, OK, Kenton Linker and wife Lacey of Buffalo Valley, OK, Rance Linker and wife Delila of Buffalo Valley, OK, and Ketra Burns and husband Brett of Whitesboro, OK; eight great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.

Altus is preceded in passing by her mothers, LeAnna Davis Driver and Pearlie Driver and father, E.V Driver; husband, Alton Linker; son, Steve Linker; great grandson, Dalton Adams, as well as five brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Adams, Andrea Linker, Rance Linker, Ketra Burns, Kenton Linker, and Brett Burns.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Alyx Samuel, Maebre Samuel, Maecie Smith, Owen Linker, Alexis Linker, Cy Burns, Tru Burns, and Everlynn Linker.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 2:00PM at Laura McGee Cemetery in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma with Bro. Rodney Tate and Bro. Joe Woody officiating. Services are under the direction of McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina.
