The 6th child of Dr. William J. & "Lulu" Armstrong, she did not marry and (per family lore) died of an appendicitis in her early 20s. Because the family knew her name as "Annie Helen," exact burial was just now found under the name "Nellie H. Armstrong." She is found in the Archives, Shelby County Register of Deeds as "Nellie H. Armstrong," 22 years old, b. in TN, died of an appendicitis, & buried in Elmwood.
