Martha W. Cummings, 96, passed away on July 8, 2021 at Quaboag Nursing Home.
She leaves two daughters, Mary Smith of North Brookfield, Tabitha Bowden of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sons, Brian Cummings of Arizona and Mark Cummings of New York State; 4 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Martha met her late husband Len Cummings in 1946 while he was stationed with the Army in North Carolina. They were married 66 years until his passing in 2012.
Martha worked as a cosmetologist for several years before moving with her husband to Massachusetts. She enjoyed working as a waitress and hostess at Salem Cross Inn of West Brookfield for many years.
Gram loved her ice cream trips to Howards and sporting events with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a great cook and loved to swap recipes.
Her request for no calling hours or funeral service are being honored. A private burial for the family will be held at a later date.
