Of Jamieson Hall, Parkland at the Lakes, the youngest daugh­ter of the late George and Barbara McGee Aberhart (of Seaforth, Ont.). She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Edgil; loving daughter, Donna (Gordon) MacDonald, Truro; granddaughters, Dr. Erin (Patrick) Hemsworth, Halifax; Heather (Patrice) Vossier, London, UK; and great-grandson, William Gordon Hemsworth, Halifax. Olive was predeceased by her brothers, George, Don and Rob Aberhart and her sisters, Mae Zavitz, Bea Aberhart and Barbara Zavitz. Olive has many nieces and nephews. Olive arrived in Halifax from Sea­forth, Ont. the day before the Second World War was declared. Before her marriage to Edgil on July 25, 1942, Olive worked in the Main Coding Office of the Canadian Navy. Olive was a member of St. James United Church, Dartmouth and a devoted mother, grandmoth­er, and homemaker. She enjoyed old time fiddle music and was a found­ing member of the metro fiddlers group in Woodside
