A. Yvonne "Tia" Haviland of Eugene died Nov. 13 of age-related causes. She was 81.
Haviland was born Aug. 8, 1923, in Imperial, Neb., to Ray and Vina Browning Smith. She married John Haviland in 1955 in Portland. They divorced in 1976.
She had worked at US Bank in Portland and also was a homemaker. She enjoyed nature, art, music and writing poetry.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Smith of Eugene.
Inurnment services were held Nov. 16 in Riverview Abbey in Portland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
