"Mrs. Ada Harlan - Funeral services for Mrs. Ada H. Harlan, 87 of Riverdale, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Lisle Calaveras Chapel. Burial will be in the Washington Colony Cemetery [Easton, Fresno County, California].
Mrs. Harlan died yesterday in the Fresno hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Hollister and had lived in Fresno County 65 years. Her husband Leroy died in 1959.
She was a member of the Christian Science Society of Riverdale, First Church of Christ Scientist of Boulder Creek, the Riverdale Home Department of the Farm Bureau, the Lemoore Chapter, Order of Eastern Star; and the Riverdale Womens Civic Club.
Surviving are a son, Gordon of Clovis; three daughters. Mrs. Frances Henson of Riverdale, Mrs. Betty Harrison of Fresno and Mrs. Virginia Covey of Wasco; a brother Howard Harrison of Greenfield [California]; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren."
The family requests any rememberances be donations to the
favorite charity of the donner [sic]."
