Beverly Ann DeWitt (nee: McKitrick) 82, of Elyria passed away Saturday September 25, 2021 at University Hospitals St. John Westshore in Westlake. She was born February 15, 1939 in Elyria.

She was a dedicated mother to 5 children and an active grandma to 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, baking and most importantly spending time with family.

Survivors include three daughters; Linda West (Rick) of Amherst, Lori Buchanan (Tom) of Wellington, Shelly Chase (Theodore) of Vermilion, two sons; John DeWitt of Elyria, and Russell David Dewitt Jr. (Carrie) of Amherst. Additional survivors include grandchildren; Sara Morales (Richard), Joey DeWitt, Chris DeWitt, Tommy Buchanan, Josh Buchanan (Aliesha), Grace Buchanan, Sam Buchanan, Ketch DeWitt, Livvy DeWitt, and two great grandchildren; RJ Morales, and Maeson Morales.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of sixty seven years; Russell D. Sr., her parents; John William and Lillian Mae (nee: Bayless) McKitrick, three sisters; Sue Revercomb, Grace DeFazio, Shirley McNulty, four brothers; William McKitrick, Howard McKitrick, Albert McKitrick, and Paul McKitrick and daughter in law; Kimberly DeWitt. Private funeral services were held.

Burial was at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria.
