Pekin - Iva Ann Gorsage, 92, of Pekin Convalescent Center died there at 12:53 p.m. yesterday. She had been ill a year.
A resident of the center seven years, she was born in Table Grove Oct. 9, 1887, a daughter of Lee and Emma Hughes Abernathy. She married William O. Gorsage Sept. 11, 1907, in Table Grove, and he died Sept. 29, 1932. One brother also preceded her.
Surviving are three sons, Edward L. of Pekin, Marcus R. of Danville, Ind., and William O. Gorsage Jr. of Hemet, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen M. Kelley of Pekin, and Mrs. Mildred A. Thomason of Show Low, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Ekwall of Lincoln, Neb.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Preston Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour earlier.
The Rev. Albert Kurz will officaite and graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Vermont (Ill.) Cemetery.
