Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Hazel Green, with the Rev. Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Casey Funeral Home, Cuba City. Friends also may call after 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the church.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1927, near Leadmine, son of Leo and Marie (Sheffer) Kisting. He married Mary Darlene Hovind on April 25, 1953, at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Benton.
Mr. Kisting farmed for most of his life. He moved to Hazel Green in 1984, and worked at the Pillsbury Co. in Dubuque from 1975 to 1992.
Paul enjoyed his family, playing with his grandchildren, nature and the outdoors. He also loved music and dancing.
He was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus 1202.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Geri (Mike) Cooley, of Lancaster, and Lynne Kisting, of Hazel Green; three sons, John Kisting, of Hazel Green, Wayne (Karen) Kisting, of Platteville, and Kevin Kisting, of Benton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorraine Lee, of Benton, Leola (Bob) Schmidt, of Dubuque, and JoAnn (Jude) Ubersox, of Shullsburg; and two brothers, Melvin (Marcy) Kisting, of Lead Mine, and Lawrence (Ann) Kisting, of Janesville.
