Bonnie Sue Carriveau Hershberger, 80, of Edwardsburg, MI, formerly of Milford, passed away at 9:10 pm, Thursday, October 7, 2021 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Bonnie was born on April 18, 1941 in Marion Co., IN to Lester and Marguerite (Cochran) Cannon. On April 20, 1962, she married Maurice Carriveau and he passed on May 15, 2003. She remarried to Ronald Hersberger and he has also passed away. She is survived by three children, Teresa (Todd) Hoffman of Niles, MI, Leslie (Nancy) Carriveau of Osceola and David (Sherry) Carriveau of Jackson, OH; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Larry (Rosina) Cannon of South Bend. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Maurice Carriveau and Ronald Hershberger; granddaughter, Brea Dawn Carriveau and six brothers; Paul, Kenny, Bernard, Richard, Lester and Jerry. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
