Joyce L. Carlin, age 67, of rural Ridgeville passed away Friday October 8, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on April 4, 1954 the daughter of Erwin and Virginia (Baumgardner) Baker.
She was married on December 7, 1974 to Laurence "Yogi" Carlin and he passed away on February 22, 2015.
Joyce worked for 30 years for Union City Body Company (Workhorse) and 5 years at the Jay County Hospital. She was a 1972 Ansonia High School graduate.
Surviving are two sons Michael Carlin (wife Ashley) of Ridgeville and Robbie Carlin (wife Ashley) of Pennville, one daughter Amy Horman (husband Jeremy) of Winchester, step-son Robert Carlin of Pennville, step-dadughter Lisa Sullivan (husband Danny) of Albany, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Gary and a grandson Matthew.
Funeral services will be Thursday October 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Gates presiding.
Burial will follow in the Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville.
