Evan Garth Aamodt, age 29, passed away on October 30, 2012.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed but cherished in their memories until they reunite with him for eternity. Evan was a 2002 graduate of East Kentwood High School. Evan served a two-year mission for his church in Arizona from the ages of 19 to 21. Returning from his mission he received a bachelor's degree at the University of Utah and graduated last year from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. At the time of his death he was working for a law firm in Logan, Utah. Evan had a brilliant mind. He enjoyed politics, history, religion, sports, and loved music. He taught himself to play guitar and loved to play and sing with his little boy. Evan had a kind and noble heart and was the sort of person who was loved and admired by all who knew him. A viewing will be held at the Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Avenue Southeast, Kentwood, MI 49508) from 7-9 PM on Sunday, November 4th. The funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2670 56th Street S.W., Wyoming, MI, 49509 from 11 to Noon on Monday, November 5th. Graveside services at Pinewood Cemetery in Kentwood.
