Mrs. Lori Lee Curtis age 48 of Watson Drive Blairsville passed away peacefully on Sunday October 10, 2021 in the Union General Hospital following and extended illness. Mrs. Curtis was born on August 24, 1973 in Union County, the daughter of John Alvin Garrett and Elizabeth Ann Marshall Garrett. Lori was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. She loved to talk and never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling and working outside. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and sister. Lori was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Curtis are her loving husband and best friend of thirty years, Joe Cutis of Blairsville, two sons and one daughter in law, Daniel and Nicole Curtis, Josh Curtis, one daughter and son in law, Ashley and Clay Cook all of Blairsville, two sister and brothers in law, Melodie and Anthony Bohannon, Lisa and Jason Kelley all of Blairsville, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Danny White officiating. Special music will be presented by Angie Bridges. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Daniel Curtis, Josh Curtis, Clay Cook, Tyler Marshall, Bryan Long and Brady Tanner. Interment will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-9:00 pm.
