Obituary for George Franklin Potter
George Franklin "Frank" Potter age 90 of Nashoba, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on October 9th, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. Frank was born on October 20th, 1930 in Hartshorne, OK to Ida Matilda (McBride) and Ambrose Potter. He enlisted in the 11th Airborne and proudly served his country in the Korean War era. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing, but mostly he loved sharing his love of the Lord with everyone. He was a member of the Nolia Assembly of God Church in Nashoba, Oklahoma. Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his children, Christine Ann Dixon of Jones, OK, Keith Watkins and wife Robin of Nashoba, OK, Kelly D. Watkins and wife Carol of Tahlequah, OK, Beverly Garneau, Don Sullivan, Terry Sullivan, and Bill Sullivan all of Oregon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He is also survived by his brothers, Benjamin Potter of Sherman, TX, and Alvin Potter and wife Anja of Nashoba, OK.

Frank is preceded in passing by his parents, three spouses, eight siblings, children, Kelly Ray Potter and Kerry Watkins, one granddaughter, Chelsea Dixon, and one grandson, Daniel Watkins.

Pallbearers will be Scott Potter, Melvin Potter, Glen Bailey, Johnny Potter, Terron Gee, and Derrick Gee.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at 2:00PM at Nolia Cemetery in Nashoba, OK with Bro. Don Brewer and Bro. Jerry Alexander officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
