The funeral of Miss Emma M. Abbott was held at 9 a.m. Saturday from the residence, 6 Lincoln Avenue, and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, where a solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev. James E. O'Neill. Assisting were Rev. Edmund J. Burns, deacon, and Rev. Gerald F. Millett, sub-deacon. Miss Julia L. Walsh presided at the organ and rendered responses to the mass. Bearers were Joseph F. McLoughlin, Timothy J. Callahan, Michael T. McNamara, Edward J. McGrath, Edward T. Kilmartin and Thomas F. Dunn. Father O'Neill conducted services at the grave in St. Peter's Cemetery.
