Hockey Player. He was drafted 3rd in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in 2003. He played for the Val–d'Or Foreurs, Moncton Wildcats, and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He was drafted 10th in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 by the Vancouver Canucks. In 2005 he won a silver medal representing Team Canada at World Junior U18 Championships. In 2006 and 2007 he won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships. He began his minor league professional hockey career with the Canucks minor league affiliate, the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, playing as a defenseman. He made the 2006-2007 Vancouver Canucks and played his first NHL game on October 10, 2006 against the Minnesota Wild. His NHL totals include 2 goals and 24 penalty minutes in a total of 36 games.
