LECOMPTE -- Services for Wilmer Earl "W.E." Bailey will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. David Braquet officiating. Burial will be in Lecompte Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria.

Bailey, 70, of Lecompte died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, in his residence.

He worked for over 30 years as an auditor for the Union Pacific Railroad and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Gordy Lodge 133, F&AM in Lecompte and a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Bailey of Lecompte two sons, John Lyndon Bailey of Pineville and Mark Aaron Bailey of Oberlin one stepson, Rickey Wilson of Long Beach, Calif. one stepdaughter, Kathy Johnson of Many one sister, Verna Wright of Forest Hill and nine grandchildren.

A wake will begin at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
