Born May 9, 1936 in Omaha Nebraska. Passed away May 16, 2012 in Lacey, Washington, where he resided. He lived in Spokane in the '50s and '60s. He worked for the state of Washington, Labor & Industries Department, in Olympia for 30 years. He enjoyed smoking a good cigar, luxury antique and classic cars. He was instrumental in the start of the Spokane Auto Boat Speed Show in the 60s. He also enjoyed restoring antique guns with his father. He is survived by children: Krista Shufelt (Joseph), Derika Scott, Jeff Shufelt, Alexis Shufelt; grandchildren Susan and Bailey; nephew Dale Stiteler (Gail). He was preceded in death by parents George and Ollie Shufelt, sisters Gloria (Stiteler) Shelden, Lois Shufelt. He was cremated and no services were held.
