Loretta A. Roberts, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on October 14th surrounded by her family. Loretta was born in 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, to Paul and Laura Asciutto. She was a surprise twin, and the youngest of four children. She attended Fontbonne Hall Academy, and thereafter graduated from St. John's University with a degree in psychology in 1973. In 1975, she married her husband Richard S. Roberts, and together they moved to Hillsborough where they raised their four children. Loretta was a dedicated "Nana", a fiercely loyal mother, a doting wife, and a proud Brooklyn Italian. She enjoyed loud music and Court TV shows, and had a sense of humor that was second to none. She was famous for her "Loretta-isms" and lived for her family's happiness. Loretta will be terribly missed, and is survived by her husband Richard of 46 years, their daughter Marisa, son Richard Jr. & wife Sandy, daughter Stefanie Williams & husband Pete, and son Steven & wife Ivette. She leaves behind her seven grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Peter Jr., Faith and Kylie Williams, Andrew and Olivia Roberts, and Calvin and Avery Roberts. She is also survived by her twin sister Joanne Asciutto, her brothers Paul Jr. and Basil Asciutto, a niece and many nephews and cousins. Friends and family may visit at the Hillsborough Funeral Home from 5-8pm on Wednesday, October 20th. Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hillsborough at 10am on Thursday, October 21st. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania immediately thereafter.
