Haley Reanee Armstrong, of Clever, MO passed away on October 10, 2021, in Grand Forks, ND. She was born on August 20, 1997, at Cox South in Springfield, MO to Dustin and Mandy (Cloud) Armstrong. Haley was the oldest of three children in the home.
She spent most of her childhood growing up in Clever as a close-nit family. She enjoyed being a part of her church and attending church camps. She liked playing softball and played for several seasons. As a young child she loved being with her "Aunt" Tia and spending time with her grandparents and great grandparents. As Haley grew, she came to know her best friend Alyssa, aka, Aly whose family lived next door to us in Clever. Their family became very dear to her heart and remain to this day. In high school, Haley had a real love for FFA and was very active in it and made many good friends. As high school progressed, Haley's patriotism and love for God and country led her towards the Army. Haley graduated from Clever High School in 2016 with honors. She enlisted in the Army and left in the summer after graduation. Haley faced many trials and injuries during basic training but pushed through with more strength and stubborn determination than anyone we had ever known. Her basic training and AIT were both completed in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. She was Delta Company 1st Battalion 48th Infantry Regiment. After completing her time there, she was stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. She faced many struggles, pain and hardship during her time of service. While serving in Fort Hood, she met her husband, Gary Dumdie. They married and had their beautiful baby girl, Marina Fay Dumdie. After leaving the Army they made several moves, Texas to Missouri and then to North Dakota. Haley was a caring person that loved her family and friends very much, but she was also determined, stubborn and patriotic. She loved her family and friends very much and had plans for the future. She will be greatly missed by many.
