Mark A. Houser, age 66 of Fremont, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Creston, Iowa.
Mark was born on August 28, 1955 to Alfred and Myrtle Houser. Mark was blessed with three children: Matthew, Angela, and Cody, and two step-children, Cassie and Cory.
Mark worked various construction and remodeling jobs, as well as farming with his dad. He enjoyed spending time in nature, hunting, fishing, and was an avid rock hound. Mark cherished his time spent with family and friends.
Mark is survived by his children Matthew Houser (Sandra), Angela McCreanor, Cody Houser, Cassie Abendroth (Jamie), and Cory Buckallew (Brandi), 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 6 sisters Kendra Thacker (Frank), Kayla Ernsting (Larry), Terri Laughlin (Joe), Jan McMillan (Mike), Sue Schwilling, and Lorraine Binkly; Mark also leaves behind his mother-in-law Frances Halton. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Myrtle Houser, and brothers Ben Houser, Keith Houser, Bob Houser, Kelly Houser, and Kim Philips.
