Gerald Eugene Giles born in Jackson, MI, on June 29, 1929. Died on October 19, 2021, peacefully at his home in San Antonio, TX.

He was predeceased by spouse, Jacquelyn, and son, Stan.

Survivors include his siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

He was raised on a dairy farm in Kentucky with his two brothers and sisters. He entered the Air Force in 1950 and retired in 1971. After his military service, he taught chemistry at John Marshall High School and retired again in 1994. In his retirement his hobbies included traveling around the nation in his camper and flying the radio-controlled airplanes he built.
