Donna was the third born of four siblings and grew up in Washington. After graduating from Sedro Woolley High School, she attended Nursing school. While there, she met the love of her life, Leslie Schissler (Les), and married him on March 15, 1952. During their 61 years together, they raised four children, Roger, Terry, Eileen and Sharon. When the kids were young, the family traveled together all over the United States to watch Les bowl on the Professional Bowling Tour. Donna loved that she got to travel with her husband and kids. This provided many happy memories for her, which she treasured. Her hobbies included swimming, golfing and bowling. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and watching her favorite sports teams, the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. Donna worked at the Platte Valley Medical Center for 37 years until she retired in 2009. One of Donna's greatest passions in life were her grandchildren. Donna loved going to all of her grandchildren's events from the time they were young, through high school, and beyond, attending most sports games, band and choir concerts. You could always count on seeing Donna in the stands or audience cheering and supporting her grandchildren. Survived by her two brothers, Bud Young, and Gary (Barb) Young. Her three daughters, Terry (Eddie) Lewis, Eileen (George) Suazo, and Sharon (Anthony) Montoya, and daughter in law, Madelyn Schissler; and grandchildren, Erin (Jeremiah) Johnson, Shaun (Courtney) Lewis, Kimberlie (Chris) Baum, Celina Suazo, Nicole (Anthony) Solano, George (Kelly) Suazo, and Justine (Jeremy) Jones. Also, 19 great grandchildren. Ashley (Tyler), Conner, Jaime, Amber, Sarah, Benson, Austin, Jaelyn, Kaeleigh, Leyah, Sebastian, Vaiden, Payton, Carter, Bentley, Landon, Kinsley, and Sutton. Lastly, her loyal companion, pride and joy, her dog Robbie; also precedied by her sister Lois, son Roger and sisters in law Rose and Helen.
