A Life That Touches The Hearts Of Others Will Live On Forever.

Adam McKinnley Stone, 37 years 11 months and 13 days of age, of Nancy, Kentucky, departed this life at 12:56 p.m. on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Adam was born at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky on Thursday, November 10th, 1983, son of Joseph McKinnley "Joe" Stone and the late Cynthia Jan "Cindy" Stringer Stone. Adam was of the Baptist faith. Adam was a Machine Operator in the Maintenance of Way Department for Norfolk Southern Railroad. His favorite color was green. He enjoyed playing video games and playing games on his computer, playing scattegories and just about any kind of game with his family and friends. One of his favorite songs was "Hotel California" by the Eagles. He also enjoyed building computers, going geocaching, collecting guns, all kinds of tools, and doing projects. He was a lover of life, he never met a stranger and was always someone who could be counted on by family and friends when he was needed. Adam was always researching "how to videos on Youtube" and could work on just about anything. He liked going to the fair when it was in town to watch the demolition derby "especially with his mother, Cindy when she was alive". Adam loved cheese pizza's, hard taco's with just meat and cheese, lasagna, mashed potatoes, and his mom's peanut butter fudge. He enjoyed spending time with family and vacations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Adam was a people person and left an impression on everyone he met.

Adam was survived by three days by his wife of twelve years, Alicia Griffin Stone, whom he married on September 26th, 2009 by Bro. David Bullock; he was also survived by one child, Madisyn Kayla "Max" Coffman; his parents, Joseph "Joe" (and Vickie Ann) Stone; two sisters, Ashley Joanna Stone and Jennifer Ann (and Tim) Girdler; two brothers, Steven Thomas (and Laura) Stout and Brian Wayne (and Renee) Stout; one niece, Abie Strunk; four nephews, Ethan James Stout, Andrew Gene Stout, Dustin Strunk (and his fiancé, Seara Dugger), and Gabe Strunk; his father and mother-in-laws, Larry and Charlotte Griffin; one sister-in-law, Rhonda (and Clyde) Hammons; two brother-in-laws, Johnny (and Jamaica) Griffin and Jeffery (and Kayla) Griffin; his maternal grandmother, Sue Bogle Stringer; a special niece, Hailee (and Ethan) Southerland; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
