Duane Eugene Aldridge, 67, of Williamsport, IN, passed away quietly at his home with family by his side on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 9:32 AM.

He was born in Lafayette, IN on January 7, 1954, the son of the late Samuel Paul and Dorothy Ethel (Ashby) Aldridge. He was raised in Lafayette, graduating from Southwestern High School in 1972. He has been a resident of Warren County for the past six years.

Duane formerly worked at ALCOA in Lafayette for 8 years and later for Eli Lilly for 28 ½ years, retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed woodworking and assisted in building homes and log houses. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring old Dodge Power Wagons.

On March 21, 1981, Duane married Jacalyn Denise Waye in the Christ United Methodist Church in Lafayette.

He leaves behind his wife; one son; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; one sister; and one nephew,. Duane was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Rusty Reed.

Friends will be received at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 2:00-5:00 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 1, 2021 at12:00 PM with Brenda McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Williamsport.
