Betty Josephine Davis was the daughter of father, Silas Martin Davis, originally from Iowa, and Maude Elizabeth Brown, originally from Kansas.

Betty was one of 8 children. Her siblings, in no particular order, were, Silas Martin Jr., Floyd Nelson, Fred Charles, James "Jimmie" Albert, stepsister, Thelma Violet Kline, stepsister, Mary Margaret Lynn and stepbrother, George Stephen Kline.

Betty's first marriage was to Frank Henry Bourlon, on the 19th of June, 1946, in Ingalls, Gray, Kansas. The couple had a total of 6 children, in no particular order, Frank, Betty Ann, Randy, Susie, Ronald J and Daniel Martin.

Betty married her second husband, Tom Lewis, in 1970, with whom she is said to have traveled the country with, until Tom retired. At that point the couple made their home in Calhan, Colorado, until Betty's death.

Betty was a devout Catholic, and was known to enjoy attending Mass. Her interests were vast, from playing musical instruments, the arts, her own works, sewing, knitting and crocheting. And, Betty also loved to entertain guests in her home. Betty was an overall joy and so pleasant to spend time with, that her passing will long leave an emptiness in her circle of dear friends, missing her calm demeanor and enjoyment of life. Betty was always thankful for each day she was given on this earth.

Betty is survived by grandchildren: Heidi, Steve Bourlon and wife, Dawn, Shannon Bourlon, Michael Radcliffe, Carmen Long and husband, Andrew, and Margaret Bourlon. Lewis is also survived by great-grandchildren, Craig and Frankie Bourlon, and Alexandria and Azriel Long. Lewis was always overjoyed to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty died at the age of 86, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
