RALPH ORVILLE AABERG

A memorial service for Ralph Orville Aaberg of Forest Grove, a retired executive for G.M.A.C., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Fuiten-Rose Mortuary Chapel in Forest Grove.

Mr. Aaberg died of congestive heart failure Thursday in a Hillsboro hospital at the age of 82.

Born Sept. 16, 1909, in Webster, S.D., he was raised and educated in South Dakota and Colorado. He graduated from high school in Longview, Wash., and attended the University of Washington. He married Clara A. Barr on June 18, 1933, in Longview.

Mr. Aaberg lived in Colorado, Detroit and Casper, Wyo., before moving to Portland in 1947. He later lived in Medford for about 10 years before moving to the Forest Grove area in the early 1970s. Mr. Aaberg was employed at the Portland and Medford branches of G.M.A.C. for 37 years until his retirement in 1971.

Survivors besides his wife include sons Eric R. of Selah, Wash., Bruce M. of Portland and Eric M. of Forest Grove; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Disposition was by cremation.
