Hunter and Fisherman Was Vice-President of Engraving Company

Elmer J. Berdoll, 62, vice-president of the Berdoll Engraving Co., died unexpectedly Friday night at his home, 2619 S. Logan av.

Mr. Berdoll had been with the company four years. Earlier he was an inspector at the former Bay View plant of the United States Steel Corp. for 14 years, and more recently at the A. O. Smith Corp. plant. He came here from Columbus, Wis., his birthplace, 20 years ago. He was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman.

Survivors are his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mr. G. J. Gumerman, Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Carl Kobersteen, Milwaukee, and three brothers, A. A., president of the engraving company; Leo, Stevens Point, and Joseph, Columbus.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception church, 1033 E. Russell av.
