Born August 23, 1941 in Catlin, Indiana, she was the daughter of Fredrick Bernice Arterburn and E. Jean (Montgomery) Arterburn. Her husband, Kevin Warmouth, survives.
Barbara was a 1959 Graduate of Montezuma High School. She previously worked at Dormeyer Industries, Columbia Records and Callahan's Greenhouse. She was a member of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church. She was an active Sunday school teacher for several years, ministered at the Rockville Correctional Facility and volunteered transportation to those in need.
Other survivors include four children, John F. (Becky) Hartman, Jeanne L. (Jeff) Cottrell, Tammy S. (Tom) Jeffers and Catherine M. (Will) Cowan; seven grandchildren, Logen Jeffers, Michael Jeffers, Lindsey Cottrell, Lance Cottrell, Lauren Cottrell, Timothy Cowan and Amber Cowan; seven great-grandchildren, Landyn Sawyer, Jaylee Cottrell, Blake Cottrell, Jayden Randall, Layla Sawyer, Bradley Randall, and Carter Jeffers; two sisters: Mary Lynn (Dan) Coleman and Catherine Laura (Steve) Nurrenburn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, 3932 West US Highway 36, Rockville, Services will follow visitation with Rev. Mark Houvenagle officiating. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery
