Marian Bobby Murphy Jermain Provstgaard, age 70 of Payson, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 from Heart Failure.
She was born October 9, 1937 to Timothy and Bobby Jermain Murphy in Payson, Utah. She was taken in by her uncle Waldo and his wife, Naomi Jermain after her mother's death when she was 16 days old. At the age of 7, she was adopted by them. She grew up in Goshen.
She married Richard "Dick" Provstgaard, September 17, 1955. He preceded her in death December 27, 2004. She worked at Mtn. County Foods for over 20 years. She was looking forward to her retirement in January. Her greatest joy was her hand crochet baby blankets for new babies of family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and especially her family.
Survivors include: her children, Bobbie (Kevin) Norton, Orem; Chris (Debbie) Provstgaard, Payson; Bart (Stacy) Provstgaard, Santaquin; Greg (Christina) Provstgaard, Silverton, Oregon; Michele (Bryan) Smith, Lehi; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Roberts, West Valley and Shirley Taylor, Mesquite, Nevada. She was preceded by: a daughter, Stephanie; two brothers and a sister, Fred Jermain, Pat Murphy and Kathryn Wilson.
Services will be Thursday, December 13, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. or Thursday, 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
