Services for Andrew "Andy" Gene Crawford, a former mechanic, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Innocence Orthodox Church with the Arch Priest Father E. Nicholas Harris officiating. Assisting him will be Arch Priest Father Simeon Oskolkoff, nephew of the deceased. Mr. Crawford, 68, died Dec. 2 at his Anchorage residence. Born Aug. 27, 1918, in Ninilchik, he had worked as a mechanic for Chugach Electric for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Izaac Walton League of America and the Elks Club. He leaves his wife, Leonardine, of Anchorage; his son, Dave, of Anchorage; his daughters, Janice Anderson and Joy Stevens, both of Anchorage, and Paula Warner of Wasilla; his sister, Minnie Quist, of Anchorage; and seven grandchildren.
