Mrs. Patricia (Pattie) Ann McDaniels Crider, 82, of Mayfield, KY, formerly of Murray, KY and the Bell City Community died at 11:59 PM, September 18, 2017 at the Baptist Health of Paducah. She was a Priest in the Community of Christ Church. She spent the last 15 or so years devoted to helping with children and families, carrying children to church and seeing that their needs were met. Her heart was bigger than most where children were involved. She pioneered in Computer Science for the last 30 or so years, in Detroit, MI, at Murray State University and Fisher Price, before retiring in 1996.

Pattie is survived by her 2 daughters – Collen Ghoslin of California and Penne Lynn Chaput of Kansas; 2 step-sons – Frank (Becky) Crider of Paducah and David (Lynn) Crider of Madisonville, KY; sister-in-law – Bettye Robertson of Mayfield; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Teddy Crider; parents – Floyd & Jessie Genevieve (Young) McDaniels; and her brother – Ronnie McDaniels.

Funeral services for Pattie will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Elder Donald Coltharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends are invited to call after 11:00 AM Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
