Scott L. Baldwin
January 22, 1957 - October 24, 2021 (age 64)

Scott L. Baldwin, 64, passed away October 24, 2021 at the Cedar City Health and Rehabilitation Center. He is now free of the mental and physical limitations he endured for a long time.

Scott was born January 22, 1957 in Cedar City, Utah to William Garth and

Julia SueVon Beaumont Baldwin. The night he was born so many babies were born the hospital had to use drawers for bassinets.

Scott grew up on a farm in Manderfield, Utah until he was eight years old. He shared many memories with his siblings and often reminisced about how fun it was living on a farm.

He attended Belnap Elementary School in Beaver and graduated from Beaver High School then attended Utah Technical College in Provo, Utah.

Scott married Heidi Moore December 31, 1980 in Beaver, Utah. They were later divorced.

When Scott was younger a lot of people commented that he looked like the singer John Denver.

In his younger years Scott enjoyed riding his motorcycle and giving rides to his nieces and nephews. He could kick your butt at darts, pool or pinball.

Scott loved rock and roll music. He loved eagles and had many eagle figurines. He enjoyed reading. He enjoyed rides up Beaver Canyon, eating curd from the Creamery, and reminiscing about what a good cook his mother was.

Scott was a gentle giant. He had a heart of gold and wouldn't hurt a fly. He was EXTREMELY proud of his two daughters, Brandy and Lisa and his grandchildren. Some of his last words to his daughters were: "Family and friends are everything,"

Scott shared the past thirty-three years of his life with the love of his life, Sheri Anderson. They were literally by each other's side almost 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Scott is survived by the love of his life, Sheri Andersen. His two daughters, Brandy (Chris) Burns and Lisa Baldwin (Billy) Nez, grandchildren Ruger, Miley and Kimber Burns and Heidi and Stella Nez. Also survived by his siblings: Brent (Marilyn) Baldwin, Linda (Cordell) Chipman, Shelley (David) Brown, Colleen (Donald) Brown, and Carol Ann (Calvin) Goodwin and his best friend, David Smith.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law Gerald "Dude" Brindley and Paul Wyatt Coston, Jr.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Health and Rehabilitation for their kind and wonderful care of Scott.
