She and Melvin Moldenhauer were married May 2, 1954 in Perryville, Missouri.
She was a Head Start Teacher and then worked for The Department of Family services.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Moldenhauer, Jeffrey (Lisa) Moldenhauer; brother, John (Patricia) Steffens; two sisters, Dorothy Wills, Laverne Schaefer; two granddaughters, Hanna (Corey) Bohnert, Megan (Lucas) Vernon; grandson, Connor (girlfriend Caterra Wibbenmeyer) Moldenhauer; two great-grandsons, Carson Bohnert, Cooper Vernon; great-granddaughter, Hallie Bohnert.
She was preceded in death by husband, Melvin Moldenhauer; daughter, Laurel Moldenhauer; brother, Eugene Steffens; sister, Eunice Koenig; Parents, Walter and Flora Steffens.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue Thursday at The Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown Missouri between 8:30am until Time of Service at 10:00am.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown Missouri with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown Missouri.
