Layton – Our Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Isabell Y. Adams, 92, passed away peacefully with family on Saturday October 31, 2021, of natural causes.

Isabell was born November 20, 1928, the daughter of Enoch Phillips Young and Hannah Victoria Phillips Young.

She married the love of her life Wallace Howard Adams February 15, 1945, in Ogden, UT and was later sealed in the Temple for all eternity.

She had lived in Kaysville and Layton her entire life where she raised her five children. She worked at a canning company and later joined her husband in a Janitorial company for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed camping, going dancing with her husband, knitting, quilt making, relief society, getting her hair done up, her doggies, her stray cats, sitting and watching all the birds come from everywhere to eat off her many bird feeders, raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is her one son Howard (Janet) Adams of Layton, UT; four daughters Lark (Bill) Higgs of Ogden, UT; Terri (Dave) Onuschak of Fort Knox, KY; Shauna (Randy) Meyer of Iowa Falls IA; Sheila (Marty) Mason of Iowa Falls IA; 20 grandchildren, a multitude of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Preceding in death by her husband Wallace Howard Adams, her parents, four brothers, three sisters and one great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday November 5, 2021, at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, Layton, Utah
