Graveside services for Nettie Blount Roberts, 87, of Pontotoc, who died of heart failure Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at Graceland Care Center in Pontotoc, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.

MrS. Roberts was a homemaker and a seamstress. She resided in Moorhead for a number of years, and in Philadelphia for 30 years prior to moving to Pontotoc in 2002. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and other sewing work. She was a Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Roberts; a son, B.F. Roberts Jr.; and a grandson.
She is survived by a son, Guy D. "Happy" Roberts of Kosciusko; three daughters, Yvonne R. Fitts of Pontotoc, Carolyn R. Shipp of Senatobia and Carrie Nell Boswell of Philadelphia; two sisters, Nell Graham of Jackson, Ala., and Dollie Gage of Beaumont; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Ken Wallace will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Friday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.
