Hiram E. Miller Dies at Maytown
Hiram E. Miller, 80, died Tuesday at 12:30 a.m., at his home, 114 West High street (sic), Maytown.
A retired electrician, he had owned and operated an electrical store in Maytown. He was a member of the Maytown Church of God.
A son of the late John K. and Lizzie Engle Miller, he was born in Maytown, and was the husband of Mary C. Miller.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Hiram T. Miller, of Dona Ana, New Mexico; four grandchildren; two sisters: Lizzie, wife of Reuben Kendig, and Annie, wife of Samuel C. Deppeller, both of Maytown, and one brother, Jacob E. Miller, Bethlehem.
Funeral services will be held from the M. Hawthorn Miller funeral home, Bainbridge, today (Thursday), at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Raymond Daihl officiating. Interment will be in East Donegal Cemetery, Marietta R. D. 1. Viewing was at the funeral home last evening (Wednesday), from 7 to 9.
