He was born July 14, 1929 in Klamath Falls, Oregon, son of the late Fred. B. and Freda M. (Neece) Robinson.
He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Robinson.
He attended University of Oregon having received a Bachelors Degree.
Wes worked for The Boeing Company in Bellevue Washington in public relations.
In 1970 he moved his family to Connecticut.
He worked for Heublein, Inc. for many years.
Wes was an accomplished pen and ink artist.
When working at Heublein he illustrated several editions of the wine auction catalog.
When in CT he made their home a sanctuary, building rock walls everywhere on his property.
In addition to his wife Joan, Wes is survived by his children, Greg Robinson and his wife Elizabeth of East Fallowfield, PA, Mark Robinson and wife Susan of Wellesley, MA and Karin Golden and husband Tom of Cheshire, numerous step-children, and his beloved grandchildren.
A memorial service was celebrated at the Vincent Funeral Home in Canton.
Burial with military honors was in Calvary Cemetery in Collinsville (Canton).
