Wesley Ryan Sikes, 31, passed away on October 24, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was born on September 4, 1990 in Dallas, Texas to Dr. Robert Sikes and Denise McCranie.
Wesley was a veteran of the United States Army and was 1st Brigade 10th Mountain Division, 1-87th Infantry Batallion, Bravo Company, and 3rd platoon.
He is survived by father, Dr. Robert Sikes of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; mother, Denise McCranie of Phoenix, Arizona; grandmother, Jeanette Sikes of Cookville, Texas; sons. Carter Wesley Sikes and Cooper Benjamin Sikes of Watertown, New York; brother, Bryan Sikes of Dallas, Texas; sister, Aubrey Cassas of Argyle, Texas.
Wesley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Sikes, Hugh and Louise McCranie.
A funeral service will be held at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:30 AM with a burial to follow at Coopers Chapel Cemetery.
