Mayme Jane (Kent) Bowers
Jane Bowers 66, of Carbondale Kan. and formerly of Kimball, passed away March 26, 2004 in Topeka, Kan. She lived in Kimball in the 1970s with her family.
She was born October 26, 1937 in Hays, Kan. the daughter of Willis and Veronas Kent. Jane was employed by Hertz Car Rental for 20 years, where she managed stations in Hays, Kan. and Manhattan, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Kim Schroller, Topeka, Kan, Brenda Schumacher, Andover, Kan., her son, Terry Bowers, Topeka, Kan.; four grandchildren, and one brother, Gene Kent of Guadalajara, Mexico.
Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held in Hays, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mother to Mother, a Topeka Organization that provides mentoring for mothers, and the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel who is assisting the family
