Jennings: It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our father, brother, and friend, Danny Paul LaBouve passed unexpectedly on November 3, 2021. Danny was born in Jennings, LA on December 27, 1962, to Nelson John LaBouve and Loretta Bergeron LaBouve. Danny worked as a Diesel Mechanic, Jack of all Trades and a great provider for his family. He was long a time resident of Lafayette, LA. Danny was an avid outdoorsman and loved deer hunting. His greatest joys came from spending time with his grandchildren, they were his heart. Danny was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Danny is survived by a lazy video gamer, Tabitha LaBouve (Andy Grard); his grandchildren, Victor Gard & John Paul Max Gard his brothers, Jerry Nelson LaBouve (Barbara), David Michael LaBouve (Debra), Lonnie James LaBouve (Kathy), John Shayne LaBouve (Dana); his sisters, Richelle LaBouve Duplantis (Nelson, Jr.), Esther LaBouve Lee (Bart); his brother-in-law, Billy Van Matre.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Loretta LaBouve; his wife, Daphne Oubre LaBouve; his sister, Sheila LaBouve Van Matre & his niece, Melanie Van Matre.
A Celebration of Danny 's life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 10:00 AM and continue until the time of his Service at 5:00 PM. A Life Party will be held at Jeff LaBouve's house following his Service.
Danny's family has decided on cremation following his Services and Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 3:00 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews & Son Funeral Home.
